Here's what that means: to qualify for this listing, the forward voltage in the two sections must be balanced within 10% of each other, and that voltage must be between 43 and 60 Volts for both sections. This tube has a lot of sag compared to others in its family. The 5Y3 tube is an 80 with an octal base, so this beautiful 4-pin tube can be dropped in with an adapter where a 5Y3 is specified. Of course, we always recommend using the tube that your amp was designed for.
